Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach– 1411 Joe White Avenue. Helps the needy with food, electric bills, rent, gas, bus tickets, etc. Answer phones, wait on clients, stock the pantry shelves as food comes in, and make repairs on the building. Coastal Rescue Mission Outreach CMO provides food baskets the last Saturday of each month for families in need. Stock shelves as food comes in, pack baskets and help give out baskets as clients arrive. Friendship Medical Clinic in Conway This is a branch of Conway Medical Center that provides free health care for people with no insurance. They need nurses, pharmacist, dentist, optometrist and doctors to volunteer their time to see these patients. Also need volunteers to answer phone and check in clients.Open 9-1pm Monday-Thursday. Mercy Hospice Provides hospice care for terminally ill patients in Horry County. Volunteer to be a grief counselor, answer phones, sit with patients, do general office work, give caregivers a break, create baskets for caregivers, cook meals for patients. 843-848-6480

GRACE Ministries Neighbor to Neighbor program provides free volunteer transportation services to seniors and individuals with disabilities to medical appointments and other life enhancing destinations (grocery store, pharmacy, ect.).
