Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach– 1411 Joe White Avenue. Helps the needy with food, electric bills, rent, gas, bus tickets, etc. Answer phones, wait on clients, stock the pantry shelves as food comes in, and make repairs on the building. Coastal Rescue Mission Outreach   CMO provides food baskets the last Saturday of each month for families in need. Stock shelves as food comes in, pack baskets and help give out baskets as clients arrive. Friendship Medical Clinic in Conway  This is a branch of Conway Medical Center that provides free health care for people with no insurance. They need nurses, pharmacist, dentist, optometrist and doctors to volunteer their time to see these patients. Freedom Readers    FR does afterschool tutoring to children who are having reading difficulties.  You can choose from locations in Conway, Myrtle Beach or Georgetown. Low income communities/ children disadvantaged. Mon-Thursday about 90 minute training class. Tracy Bailey   843-251-1804

Meals on Wheels  Provides meals to Myrtle Beach area shut-ins. Prepare the meals, plate the meals or deliver meals, washing dishes, sweeping floors.  Kathy Edens 843-340-5982

Mercy Hospice Provides hospice care for terminally ill patients in Horry County. Volunteer to be a grief counselor, answer phones, sit with patients, do general office work, give caregivers a break, create baskets for caregivers, cook meals for patients. 843-848-6480

Boys and Girls Club of the Grand Strand Provides programs and services to promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of belonging, usefulness and influence. Mentor a boy or girl, help with special events sponsored by the club. Dione Buontol   843-712-1977

Grand Strand Miracle League They provide sports opportunities in baseball and soccer to handicapped children. Each child needs has a one on one mentor during the games to assist them in playing. They need coaches and mentors. Isabel Shen   843-448-7712

GRACE Ministries Neighbor to Neighbor program provides free volunteer transportation services to seniors and individuals with disabilities to medical appointments and other life enhancing destinations (grocery store, pharmacy, ect.).  We offer an online platform so individuals can login, view the ride requests, and assign themselves as their personal schedule permits. Office: (843) 839-0702 ext. 106
